The Multi-Ethnic Chamber Alliance, consisting of the Greater Austin Asian, Black, Hispanic and Gay & Lesbian chambers of commerce, in partnership with the City of Austin is hosting a panel on the Future of Fashion in Austin. Our panelists will be speaking on the intersection of tech and fashion and how they are best leveraging both of those industries to create innovative products.

Moderator: Nina Means, Director, ACC Fashion Incubator at Austin Community College

Samuel Alexander of Concept 2 Consumption couples more than three decades in fashion with his experience leveraging technology to position his clients to take advantage of the ever-evolving fashion industry. His latest creation, C2C, is a Global Fashion and Technology Ecosystem.

Jaya Shukla of Bella Desi has compiled over 20 years of experience in the field of fashion and design. She has her own production facility in India and every thing is done in house. She blends business and philanthropy by utilizing local craftsman, fabrics and incorporating the same in her designs.

Jennifer E.S. Millspaugh of Austin Fashion Initiative works at the intersection of fashion, technology, entrepreneurship and academia, enhancing product development lifecycles through brand integration, supply-chain innovations and process creation.

Trevor Goodman is the Event Director for BDYHAX, a conference about making human augmentation accessible coming up in its fourth year in Austin, Feb 23-24, 2019. Trevor is interested in sensory augmentation, wearable technology, custom fashion and in bringing awareness of and access to these technologies to the general public.
