Tiffany Dockery Gibson, has been with the University of Texas at Austin for over 20 years, serving in some capacity with the university’s Historically Underutilized Business and Small Business (HUB/SB) Program office. Over her career she has worked in cooperation with purchasing and accounting personnel to ensure institutional policies and procedures complied with HUB/SB program objectives, and has maintained close, cooperative relationships with university offices, professional associations, and special interest associations, in an effort to further HUB/SB program initiatives. She has held the role of subject matter expert for HUB reporting systems for six UT component institutions, and currently serves as the Interim HUB Coordinator/Small Business Director for the university’s HUB/SB program. She is a proud Texas EX who has obtained an Executive Master’s in Public Administration from Texas Southern University. She has been certified as a Master Compliance Administrator by the American Contract Compliance Association, and maintains a position on the HUB Discussion Workgroup leadership team as Secretary. She also chairs the Memorandum of Cooperation between 19 Texas state agencies, the Texas Association of African American Chambers of Commerce, and the Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers of Commerce. Paired with strong diplomatic skills and a natural affinity for cultivating relationships, she is eager to pursue opportunities that will allow her to further increase economic parity for all businesses.
